Job Title: Director of Global Marketing - Travel Unit
Summary Your purpose as a Global Marketing Director is to inspire our customers to achieve their ambitions with the support of Amadeus.
You will lead the central marketing function for all of Amadeus' Travel Unit, driving global marketing activities, defining strategies, and managing customer communications.
This role involves significant collaboration with senior stakeholders across the company, requiring strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
You will play a key role in shaping the marketing vision and ensuring its consistent execution across various customer verticals, business lines, and regions.
Key Responsibilities Define the Global Marketing Strategy: Create and integrate marketing strategies.
Develop a marketing playbook with guidelines for events, sponsorships, and communications.
Establish a framework for initiatives across verticals, business lines, and regions.
Develop the Travel Unit's marketing positioning, value proposition, and narrative. Define the Global Marketing Plan and Budget: Develop and cascade the marketing plan and budget.
Monitor performance metrics to maximize growth and ROI. Define Customer Vertical Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with senior vertical experts to develop clear marketing visions.
Understand each customer vertical's business needs and strategies.
Work with product and regional teams to create compelling value propositions. Develop Core Marketing Content: Create and adapt marketing materials for each vertical.
Develop campaign briefs and support execution. Design and Monitor Marketing Campaigns: Design campaigns with KPIs and success metrics.
Create creative content and review with stakeholders.
Lead central customer communications as needed. Support Commercial and Product Teams: Provide front line teams with the latest insights.
Conduct competitor and industry research to deliver actionable conclusions. Contribute to Business Development: Represent the Travel Unit at industry, customer, and internal events.
Inspire audiences with the Amadeus vision. Create a High-Performance Team: Build and develop a team of engaged, high-performance marketing professionals. The Ideal Candidate B2B Marketing Experience: Proven track record in large, matrix organizations. Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire diverse, global teams. Strategic Vision: Translate business goals into effective marketing strategies - specifically leading global marketing transformations.
