Job Summary: The Global Data Operations Specialist is responsible for running the Havas data management platforms. S/He ensures the data operations delivery and excellent customer service. S/He works on the global integration of the team acting as a bridge between different areas located globally, ensuring the knowledge flow accordingly across all areas.
Main Responsibilities: Data operations management:Ensure the data platforms and processes are running well, both in data collection, integration, and processing.Monitor and manage data quality processes and data integrations.Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance of all the data exchange and data solution processes.Responsible for the quality and security of data.Ensure the quality of service; responsible for user support and help with technical issues and/or improvements, cascading to development teams.Document data operations and monitoring solutions in clear, concise guides.Team management:Coach, guide, and support the team of data operations specialists and developers.Motivate and create a great place for people to work.Ensure knowledge transfer flows in both directions, establishing protocols to guarantee this.Develop team effectiveness.Education & Languages: Education: Computer science, engineering, or related technical field.Previous Experience: 3+ years professional experience in the field of data management.Language Skills:English: ExcellentSpanish: ExcellentKey Competencies: Broad knowledge of Data Platforms in Media space, both at infrastructure (basic) and operational level (expert).Strong command of ad-serving systems, DSPs, and data management solutions.Minimum of 3 years of experience in data technology/management on a big data platform.Strong working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.Skills in one or more languages will be necessary: Java, Perl, Python, Shell script Unix.Knowledge of new generation data platforms such as MPP databases, Hadoop, or Spark is a plus.Experience working within IT procedures, data quality requirements, and agile/SCRUM environments.Experience and robust knowledge in cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS).Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.Proactive self-starter.Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Experience using IT project management software.Experience writing technical documentation and how-tos for operational tasks.
