You will partner with numerous business functions (including Procurement, Manufacturing, Legal, Finance and Public Relations) to complete projects that enable Cimpress and its businesses to both reach their specific sustainability targets and broader sustainability objectives. You will be involved in leading or participating in projects such as:Utility-scale renewable energy procurement, generally in the form of Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs), green tariffs or similar;Development of a "return to Cimpress" program for products and/or packaging that cannot be recycled;Sophisticated Procurement tender evaluations and recommendations, such as Logistics, CAPEX equipment, etc;Carbon offset procurement strategy and purchases;Large-scale tree planting commitments and/or collaborations by Cimpress (which may or may not be connected to a carbon offset strategy);Guideline development for Cimpress businesses, such as real estate construction considerations (EV support strategy, preparation for on-site solar, on-site composting capabilities, sustainable cafeteria services, etc.).What You Will Do:Leading skilled cross-functional teams (including both Cimpress team members and suppliers) through sophisticated, highly impactful global projects;Identifying and communicating key project success milestones, indicators, and decisions; interacting with high level decision-makers for decisions of significant financial consequence.Driving and handling all project requirements and priorities, including budget and timing.Resolving issues that arise that are within your control, and clearly delegating those issues that must be resolved by others.Providing regular progress reports to partners at agreed upon cadences and in agreed upon formats.Your Qualifications:Direct experience in execution of sustainability-related projects;An undergraduate degree in sustainability, engineering, environmental sciences, business administration, or other relevant programs;Proven ability to work independently across global, virtual, asynchronous, and cross-functional teams;Experience in effectively communicating and engaging with a wide range of partners that may have opposing or differing views on sustainability topics and the best approach to address sustainability issues;Ability to organize and harness the skills of fellow team members and consultants to execute on defined projects;Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact across all levels of the organization with impact and influence;Knowledge of sustainability trends and regulatory developments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Adaptable to a changing environment;Nice to Have:Sustainability professional designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) designation considered a plus;A sustainability certification, such as SEA, SEP, Climate Change Officer, etc.Why You'll Love Working Here: Being at Cimpress means that you don't see work as just a building, a desk or a manufacturing floor.
