This role will lead the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives related to environmental impacts across the projects in Spain.
Your role
Develop, propose and implement environmental and social programs applicable to the existing projects.
Manage detailed Environmental Impact Assessments and the supporting technical studies including noise assessments.
Prepare clear and concise reports, proposals, and project documentation related to social and environmental requirements.
Coordinate with the HSSE team for the control and monitoring of environmental measures during construction, operation, and maintenance.
Manage communication and coordination between project stakeholders - internal & external.
Represent Statkraft when engaging with project stakeholders and market contacts.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Degree in geology, environmental engineering, environmental science, geography or other related scientific/technical field, at Master level preferred.
Comprehensive professional experience in Environmental Impact Assessments and pre-development efforts. Experience linked to renewable energies will be positively valued.
Experience managing projects and effectively coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Experience working in teams and establishing and maintaining cross-functional and positive working relationships.
Experience working with confidential information.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish - written and verbal - other languages will be an advantage.
