Responsibilities: Innovate and strategize ways to enhance our commitment to sustainability while balancing corporate obligations.Conduct thorough evaluations of current policies to identify and initiate improvements, aligning with our sustainability goals.Lead the development and implementation of sustainable programs, assessing their effectiveness and making strategic adjustments as needed.Craft and define our local sustainability strategy to mirror the global Nutreco vision, ensuring efficient, profitable outcomes within set timelines.Generate detailed reports and presentations to keep management updated on progress and to advocate for further sustainability initiatives.Oversee environmental project financing documentation, including grant proposals, to ensure legal compliance.Stay ahead by tracking industry sustainability trends and competitor initiatives to continuously refine our approach.Equip our commercial team with the knowledge and tools to leverage sustainability in customer engagements and value propositions.Job Requirements: Advanced degree in a relevant field, with additional training in Sustainability and Environmental Sciences preferred.At least ten years of experience in sustainability, environmental sciences, or related fields.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of managing objectives and KPIs.Native proficiency in Spanish and fluency in English.Global Benefits: A full-time position in an international, dynamic environment.Competitive remuneration package, private health insurance, and 26 vacation days with flexibility.Opportunities for professional growth within Nutreco and the broader SHV group.A flexible work environment with the option to work from home 2 days per week.Local Benefits: Subsidized meals in our office canteen.Reduced working hours on Fridays and over the summer.Regular company and team events.At Nutreco, we prioritize providing a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
