If you're excited by the prospect of shaping a strategy, influencing decisions, and embedding sustainability into the core of our operations, this is your moment to make a lasting impact.This is a hybrid role, requiring one to two days per week in the Shipton Under Wychwood office OX7 6XU and our Cheltenham Office GL52 8YQ. Requirements for the Sustainability & Compliance ManagerA Strong background and experience in sustainability, compliance, or environmental management. (3yrs - 5yrs + in a Sustainability role)Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance standards, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD, WEEE).Experience with sustainability reporting tools and frameworks, such as EcoVadis and Sedex.Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and proactively implement best practices.Responsibilities as Sustainability & Compliance ManagerDevelop and implement a sustainability strategy aligned with VoCoVo's corporate objectives.Identify sustainability risks and opportunities, focusing on responsible business practices that address environmental, social, and economic factors.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including WEEE, CSRD, and ISO 14001, while managing accurate reporting on all relevant metrics.Collaborate with department managers to implement resource management strategies like waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing.Engage with key stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, customers, and regulators, to promote sustainability initiatives and ensure organisation-wide buy-in.Conduct audits and inspections to monitor compliance with sustainability and regulatory standards.Prepare and submit detailed sustainability and compliance reports for senior leadership, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.Deliver training programmes to raise awareness of sustainability goals and compliance requirements, encouraging eco-friendly behaviours across the company.Monitor emerging regulations and sustainability trends, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance sustainability performance, including waste reduction and energy management.Be VoCoVo's Sustainability & Compliance thought leader, attend shows and be a sustainability brand ambassadorSalarySalary range: £60,000 - £67,000Benefits25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (increases with years of service)Option to Buy or Sell 5 days holiday each year Sick Pay - 8 weeks full pay, 4 weeks half pay Life Assurance - (4 times basic pay) Private Medical Insurance Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) Cycle2Work Scheme Electric Car Green Salary Sacrifice Scheme Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Package Child Care Scheme Training & Development Company Organised Events Pension (Royal London Group) 5% Employer Contribution Matched Apple MacBook, Wireless Magic Mouse and Keyboard, Monitor and HeadphonesCompany ValuesEmbracing VoCoVo's 'VOICE' Values is important to us, shaping our collaborative and innovative culture.VALUEDOur Colleagues, Customers, and Stakeholders are valued; treated with respect, empathy,and operate with honesty and integrityONE TEAMCollaboration of all for VoCoVo's happiness and successINNOVATIONOur products are constantly evolving to tackle the pain points of retailers across the globeCUSTOMER FOCUSEDOur customers love VoCoVo at every level, every interaction with us is frictionless, and we are integral to their operationsEMPOWEREDOur people are empowered to do the right thing and make decisions without loads of red tapeIf you feel this could be the right fit, apply now!
