Now, we are looking for a Sustainability Architect in our office in Barcelona/Madrid.
As an employee of ARQUID, the profile will actively participate in a wide range of projects, from small improvements and renovations to large industrial investments. As an architect or technical Architect, you will collaborate with our team members executing a variety of projects.
What is the role About?We are looking for an Architect with orientation in sustainability, to produce technical documents, have the capacity to review the technical work from other team members, lead a sustainable plan in every project, and make it true during the life of the project in all its phases. Also, teach about technical mechanisms, software, calculations, and strategies to others, collaborate with the lead architects of the office, and help assess and develop business cases for the developer's branch of the company (House flipping), respecting the methodology and philosophy of the company.
As an Architect with orientation in sustainability, you will be responsible for:
Define bio-climatic design strategies: envelopes, sustainable materials and constructive solutions, energy efficiency, low carbon.Perform building climatic analysis with Design Builder, Open studio, Green Building Studio or similar.Set up a sustainability roadmap in early phases of a project and identify key points, investments, actions, and stakeholders in each phase.Develop quality control and plan follow-up.Develop reports according to requirements.Perform and produce technical information.Lead authorities' communication for permits and staff.RequirementsDegree / certificate in Architecture with strong sustainable orientation.At least 5 years of experience in sustainable designs through all phases.Fluent in English and French.Experience in Bioclimatic and carbon-footprint reduction strategies.Knowledgeable in nZEB and similar norms.Fluent in Revit and BIM 6D.Perform climatic analysis.Knowledge in ESG and European Applicable Regulations.Travel availability.
