We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a Surgical Glaucoma Laser Specialist, you will work with territory-wide glaucoma surgeons to sell Alcon Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty equipment.You will facilitate the entire selling process including demo for surgeons and staff, thereby contributing to increased install base, sales growth, and commercial objectives for the Spanish territory. You will:Become a certified Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT) TrainerContribute to sales targets in the allocated territory and increase DSLT install base across the territoryDrive procedural uptake with the install baseComply with all legal requirements relating to role and business practiceGenerate and develop new business to meet specified goalsDrive synergies with the rest of Alcon Surgical portfolio, especially GlaucomaPlan and manage territoryEnsure segmentation and targeting is in place and aligned with country lead and that all customers are visited on a monthly basisMaintain and nurture existing client relationshipsUnderstand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clientsWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:Educated to degree level (BA/BSc), ideally related to HealthcareFluent in Spanish and intermediate EnglishMinimum 1 or 2 years of sales experience in the Healthcare, Medical equipment, or Pharmaceutical industryNice to have surgical/medical devices experiences and/or ophthalmic sales experience (ideally in Glaucoma or cataract surgery)Excellent selling, relationship building, and people-engagement skillsVery strong ability to take on, understand, and converse in technically demanding, medical/scientific knowledge and languageProven track record of success in salesProfessional manner, proficiency, attention to detail, outstanding personal organizational skills, and strong customer focusHOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits packageTraining and continuous development; Be part of a high-performing leader in the ophthalmology company with a lot of opportunities to further develop your professional careerInternational exposureOpen, friendly, and collaborative culture; Work in a challenging environment within an outstanding team that will support you to achieve goals and performance
