As a Surgical Glaucoma Laser Specialist, you will work with territory-wide glaucoma surgeons to sell Alcon Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty equipment.
You will facilitate the entire selling process including demos for surgeons and staff, thereby contributing to increased install base, sales growth, and commercial objectives for the Spanish territory.
You will: Become a certified Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT) Trainer Contribute to sales targets in the allocated territory and increase DSLT install base across the territory Drive procedural uptake with the install base Comply with all legal requirements relating to role and business practice Generate and develop new business to meet specified goals Drive synergies with the rest of Alcon Surgical portfolio, especially Glaucoma Plan and manage territory Ensure segmentation and targeting is in place and aligned with country lead and that all customers are visited on a monthly basis Maintain and nurture existing client relationships Understand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clients WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON: Educated to degree level (BA / BSc), ideally related to Healthcare Fluent in Spanish and intermediate English Minimum 1 or 2 years of sales experience in the Healthcare, Medical equipment or Pharmaceutical industry Nice to have surgical/medical devices experience and/or ophthalmic sales experience (ideally in Glaucoma or cataract surgery) Excellent selling, relationship building, and people-engagement skills Very strong ability to take on, understand, and converse in technically demanding, medical/scientific knowledge and language Proven track record of success in sales Professional manner, proficiency, attention to detail, outstanding personal organizational skills and strong customer focus HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Training and continuous development; Be part of a high-performing leader in ophthalmology company with a lot of opportunities to further develop your professional career International exposure Open, friendly and collaborative culture; Work in a challenging environment within an outstanding team that will support you to achieve goals and performance #J-18808-Ljbffr
