.The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Support Technician. This position will be funded by the project PDC2022-133451-I00, financed by the Spanish Ministry MCIN / AEI / 10.13039 / 501100011033 and by the European Union "NextGeneration EU" / PRTR.ICIQ is one of the world's internationally recognized leading institutions in the field of chemistry committed to solving major social and economic challenges by conducting top quality research in three main areas: Sustainable Catalysis, Renewable Energy, and Health.ICIQ is looking for a Support Technician to work in the group of Prof. Julio Lloret. We are seeking a research scientist to join our research team focusing on the development of catalysts using earth-abundant elements for CO 2 reduction reactions (CO2RR). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing membrane electrode assemblies optimized for CO2RR and assisting in the design of electrochemical cells.Collaboration with fellow scientists to analyze results, write detailed reports, and maintain laboratory equipment is essential. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for writing scientific articles and research proposals, requiring excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
