Let's paint the future together.The objective of the role is to lead and m anage the Supply Planning team for your BU/Region to ensure the required service to the customer and the appropriate balance with costs and inventory for both finished goods and materials.Be the primary interface between the Business Unit and Supply Planning in EMEA.Ensure the region is meeting the targets month after month in terms of OTIF (Delivery Capability), Inventory (DIO) and SLOBs (%) optimizing the impact on manufacturing, logistics and procurement costs.Implement and develop the needed processes and tools to perform the required planning activities.Develop the team and ensure their engagement.Support the BU Supply Chain Director on improvement projects and the deployment of the strategy and operational plans into the region.Ensure good communication and integration with demand/Bus, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and finance.Ensure the region is meeting the targets month after month in terms of OTIF (Delivery Capability), Inventory (DIO) and SLOBs (%) optimizing the impact on manufacturing, logistics and procurement costs.What you bring University Education with at least 6 years' experience in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail industries Supply Chain Improvement or consultingAt least a few years of management experienceHigh level of experience on Supply Planning, IBP processes, Planning tools , Supply planning, planning in SAP ECC and BIChange management: ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal relationship skills and communicator, able to listen , able to handle team tensionsFocused on resultsGood problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendationsStrong desire to challenge and improve status-quoWhat we offer To join a leading multinational in its sector.Multicultural environment in a always evolving companyOffices in Zona Franca Barcelona with parking and public transportation access.#LI-MT2 #LI-HybridAt AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
