The Procurement Market Intelligence Team is part of Ecolab Process & Analytics and is responsible for driving Freedom to Negotiate via strategic business insights, analytical mindset and finding solutions in complex situations. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong customer-oriented mindset, excellent analytical skills, comfort dealing with multiple stakeholders and business problems, and the ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment. Your role will strongly identify you as a partner to your assigned procurement category managers. Your Key Responsibilities Procurement Intelligence Team Provide right analytics, metrics and reporting to enable sourcing teams to deliver our function targets. Conduct material and spend analyses to find opportunities for improving cost savings, sales growth, new market development, and structural changes. Design, update, and/or improve tracking and reporting spreadsheets. Train others in the use of standardized reports, spreadsheets, and databases. Aggregate, format, and clean data from multiple different sources enabling enterprise-wide insights and analytics. Support the vendor bidding process and analyze data to determine optimal outcomes for business needs. Identify trends from data and use that information to recommend/implement cost or efficiency savings opportunities. Manage urgent ad hoc and routine analytical requests to meet the needs of procurement managers. Prepare and present presentations and reports intended for internal and external audiences. Identify systemic issues and recommend process improvements. Represent purchasing on cross-functional & project teams. Run effective presentations for key stakeholders from Procurement for reports, projects, and processes. Support data and process requirements of the department. Implement and train on new system tools. Your Take on It After spending 1-2 years in this position an associate will: Be a Procurement data-storyteller. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Skills and Experience to Include: Bachelor's degree or higher education of a quantitative nature (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance). 1-2 years previous experience in Supply Chain. 1-2 years previous experience in analytical roles. Proficiency with ERP software (preferably SAP), ACCESS, POWERBI / TABLEAU / QLIKVIEW. Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other European languages (a plus). Chinese or any other Asian language would be a plus for this position. Excellent communication & presentation skills
