SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS ENGINEERLogistics done differently.We are looking for a Solution Engineer with good commercial project management skills to support the sales team in designing innovative technical and commercial solutions.Responsibilities Include:Understand, interpret, and respond to detailed technical specifications & documentation and prepare proposals for the supply chain division.Work with the sales team and customer prospects to ascertain the enquiry information necessary to produce sales proposals, including quotation documents.Submit a detailed response to the enquiry documentation and provide responses to any subsequent requests for clarification.Respond to customer questions & requests in a timely and efficient manner.Define and evaluate KPIs/pricing compliance to track pricing performance and enable continuous improvements.Handle incoming sales calls and maintain appropriate records.Support the Sales Team in negotiations with the customer and convert those opportunities into offers.Assist the team with further developing the costing process as part of the quotation process.Stay informed about the most innovative trends in the market on automation and value-added services for new projects.What you need to succeed at GXO:Bachelor's Degree (An engineering qualification would be advantageous, but any technical or financial education with relevant experience will be considered).Proven knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.Minimum of 2 years of experience in strategy consulting or background in tendering and proposal preparation.Strong analytical skills and financial modeling skills to help drive recommendations through to completion.High aptitude for critical thinking and ability to work well under pressure with appropriate attention to detail.Deadline driven.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work across functions.Proficiency in English.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions for the world's most successful companies.
