Now, we are looking for a Supply Chain Project Engineer to join our office in Madrid. As an employee of IPS, you will actively participate in a wide range of projects in an industrial environment. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering. Project Feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan. Project Preparation Phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement. Project Realization Phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management. What is the role About? As a Supply Chain Project Engineer, you will be involved in:
Supply chain projects and project management. Assistance in Business Development and Digitalization projects. Links with other projects in the Food Industry, Life Sciences, Chemical, Primary, or Buildings sectors. Simulation projects for operational and logistics purposes. Study, analysis, and optimization of the supply chain for clients. Analysis, conceptual design, procurement, and supervision in warehousing implementations with all the technologies involved. Digital audits to analyze operational problems in factories and design strategies to reduce them. Requirements Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or any other related field. Master's degree in Supply Chain is a plus. 1 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and logistics CAPEX projects. Experience or knowledge in Simulation modeling, using FlexSim or Anylogic is a plus. Fluency in English; French is a plus. Open to mobility according to project needs (20% to 60%).
