Vestas Spain > Service > Global Service Operations > Supply Chain Planning The Supply Chain Planning team is a motivated team responsible for guaranteeing the correct inventory setup throughout the different countries of the MED region, supporting Service Operations. We coordinate all areas of Supply Chain Planning, including Business Improvement, safety, quality, and sustainability. These projects and developments are strategically important to improve business by developing and implementing a best-in-class Supply Chain in Vestas. As a service function, we are responsible for ensuring the best availability at lower cost. Responsibilities Define current footprint for the MED region and identify areas of improvement (identify inefficiencies and propose new solutions). Provide support and valuable input to the team and contribute to the correct inventory setup. Review/build solid Business Cases together with the Service Business and external partners to assess future footprint. Optimize actual footprint looking at lead time and cost efficiency. Accelerate the Footprint decisions (flow design, outsourcing to a 3PL, consolidating warehouses, building a new warehouse, establishing new distribution center, etc.) between all relevant stakeholders in Supply Chain (Global Planning, Global Logistics, Procurement, SBUs, etc.). Establish a Governance and hearing model for new warehouse location requests and required documentation and processes to comply with the rule set. Facilitate stakeholder coordination with the outcome of a go/no-go decision for new or substitute locations in alignment with the long-term Global Strategy. Together with main tasks, the resource will be involved in other tasks held by the Supply Chain Planning team to be effective support for the rest of the team – mainly inventory management and forecast planning. Qualifications Ideally, you hold a bachelor's degree (Logistics, Project Management, Engineering, or similar) or have experience working in problem-solving settings. Experience with stakeholder management of internal and external character (cross-cultural interactions and international environments). Knowledge of SAP ERP. Knowledge of SQL AZURE. Knowledge of Power BI. Experience in Project Management. Analytic mindset, team spirit, capable of working in complex and fast-changing environments. Very good skills in MS Office.
