We coordinate all areas of the Supply Chain Planning including Business Improvement, safety, quality, and sustainability. These Projects and Developments are strategically important to improve business by developing and implementing a best-in-class Supply Chain in Vestas. Also, as a service function, we are responsible to ensure best availability at lower cost.Responsibilities:Define current footprint for MED region and identify areas of improvement (identify inefficiencies and propose new solutions)Provide support and valuable input to the team and contribute to the correct inventory set upReview/build solid Business Cases together with the Service Business as well as external partners to assess future footprintOptimize actual footprint looking at lead time and cost efficiencyAccelerate the Footprint decisions (flow design, outsourcing to a 3PL, consolidating warehouses, building a new warehouse, establishing a new distribution center, etc.) between all relevant Stakeholders Supply Chain (Global Planning, Global Logistics, Procurement, SBUs, etc.)Establish a Governance and hearing model for new warehouse location requests and required documentation and processes to comply with the rule set.Facilitate the stakeholder coordination with the outcome of a go/no-go decision for new or substitute locations in alignment with the long-term Global StrategyTogether with main tasks, the resource will be involved in other tasks held by the Supply Chain Planning team to be effective support for the rest of the team – mainly inventory management and forecast planning.Qualifications:Ideally, you hold a bachelor's degree (Logistics, Project Management, Engineering or similar) or have experience working in problem-solving settingsExperience with stakeholder management of internal and external character (cross-cultural interactions and international environments)Knowledge of SAP ERPKnowledge of SQL AZUREKnowledge of Power BIExperience in Project ManagementAnalytic mindset, team spirit, capable of working in complex and fast-changing environmentsVery good skills in MS OfficeFluent in English both written and spokenAdditional info:We are looking for candidates in Madrid.
