Context and Challenges of the Position Missions of the Job The Supply Chain Manager: Coordinates the processing and monitoring of finished goods contracts/orders to warehousing, invoicing, and collection/distribution.
Designs and organizes strategies for managing production planning of finished goods with a constant objective of optimizing the cost/quality/deadline ratio.
Drives the different supply chain processes (description, monitoring, and improvement).
Ensures the adequate raw material stock level for production of finished goods based on the finished goods replenishment forecast or direct deliveries to customers.
Participates in the implementation of transversal corporate and SBU projects (SAP Implementation).
Tasks and Responsibilities Management of the Supply Chain Team Members Recruitment and selection of new team members.
You measure team performance through individual regular performance reviews.
You are a true coach for your team members and help them develop.
You ensure the effectiveness of the organization, training, and accountability in maintaining a good social climate.
Management of the Supply Chain Activities You manage the effectiveness of the service through recovery, quality, customer satisfaction, and inventory measurement indicators.
Take part in daily/weekly local operation reviews and coordinate the actions/decisions with the supply chain team.
You guarantee compliance with international trade and regulatory rules, European and local regulations.
Ensure the maintenance of the data and guarantee its accuracy in collaboration with HQ support services.
Determine, monitor, and improve supply chain KPIs.
In collaboration with the plant, SBU, and the global Supply Chain department, you define and implement the supply chain strategy: product flows, distribution rules, warehouse positioning and dimensioning, raw material replenishment rules, inventory levels, and targets.
Reporting all quality issues in the system.
Requirements for the Job Hard Skills Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a supply chain manager (supply planning, logistics, and purchasing/replenishment), is required, even in fields other than animal nutrition.
ERP knowledge of SAP/ECC or 4HANA (Material Management, Order to cash, and Production Planning).
Fluency with the use of Power BI.
Good knowledge of MS Office programs, mainly Excel.
Good understanding of business issues and processes.
Energetic, well-organized, self-initiated, and coordination skills.
Change management skills
