In our mission to deliver innovative and impactful products in the mobility sector, we are building the company whilst working with clients in exciting engineering and manufacturing challenges.As a Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for strategic purchasing of materials, overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process within BOLD and controlling inventory by identifying how much is reserved to use it.
You are also in charge of the warehouse and organize the transportation routes while combining shipments where possible.
You ensure that the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers is efficient, cost-effective, and timely.ResponsibilitiesStrategic purchasing of materials .To develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies aligned with BOLD's goals.Identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain to reduce costs, improve payment terms conditions, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.Select, evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.Negotiate contracts, prices, terms and conditions with suppliers.Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.Look for alternatives for critical materials and suppliers.Logistics and DistributionOversee the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.Optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand.Demand ForecastingAnalyse market trends, sales data, and customer demand to forecast future needs.Work closely with sales and production teams to align supply with demand.Process ImprovementContinuously evaluate and improve supply chain processesImplement technology solutions such as ERP systems to enhance supply chain operations.Compliance and SustainabilityEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Promote sustainable practices within the supply chain, such as reducing carbon footprint or adopting ethical sourcing.Collaboration and CommunicationWork closely with other departments (e.G., procurement, production, finance, sales) to ensure alignment and effective communication.Maintain strong communication channels with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead and mentor the Supply chain professionals, including buyers, planners, logistics and warehouse.Minimum qualifications, skills and experienceUniversity education in Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent professional work experience.At least 10 years of experience in a similar role or in Purchasing in an industrial company.Experience in operating MRP/ERP Systems.
Knowledge in ERP Odoo will be a plus.Analytical skills: excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Leadership: proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.High negotiation, communication and leadership skills.Desirable skills and additional experiencePrevious experience in Supply Chain Battery technology experience in EV.Additional requirementsOvertime and flexibility will be required when project or customer needs additional support.The position requires occasional travel to supplier sites, manufacturing facilities, exhibitions or other company locations related.Compensation and benefitsCompetitive compensation.Flexible compensationHealth insuranceKindergartenRegular events and team building activities.BOLD is an equal opportunity company.
