Supply Chain Manager (industrial packaging sector) A leading multinational company in the packaging sector is looking for a Supply Chain Manager .
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for SCHM of two manufacturing sites based in Madrid, and in charge of Customer Services, Purchasing, Planning and Logistics Warehouse Departments Location: Madrid South, with responsibility over two sites – regular travelling between the two sites is required Full Time.
Monday to Thursday from 08h to 17h00 (with lunch break).
Friday from 8h to 15h.
Hybrid model (4 days on site + possibility of one day teleworking).
Reporting to: Managing Director Staff in charge: approximately 25 employees Type of contract: Permanent.
Job Requirements: Degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization or equivalent.
Master's degree in Supply Chain is highly valued.
5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the same packaging sector, or in multi-site organizations of a similar size.
Experience in a multinational industrial environment.
Languages required: Spanish fluent.
English professional (level C1 equivalent) Excellent Office skills.
Driver´s license and own vehicle Responsibilities: Be responsible for the Production Planning process, Customer Service, Procurement and Logistics departments, taking ownership of the objectives associated with each of the functions and managing the team.
Maximize customer satisfaction always taking into account production needs and requirements (KPI's, policies, procedures, etc.
), as well as quality and HSE regulations.
Lead the S&OP process, coordinating the different needs and requirements of planning, production, capacity, etc.
as well as anticipating, when necessary, the different imbalances between demand and capacity, all together with the different stakeholders within the organization.
To distribute the volumes in the plants, taking into account the capacity and demand of the moment, the technical capabilities of each one of them and the quality requirements, in order to provide the maximum value to the company.
Work as a team with other stakeholders (commercial, technical, financial, operations, etc.)
to ensure that the processes operate efficiently, accommodating the various interests and needs, both internal and external, and generating the necessary empathy to build a company team spirit.
Manage and take responsibility over the budget related to Supply Chain.
Ensure that the Supply Chain teams and processes have the resources, tools, training, etc.
that enable them to provide a good service both to the customer and to the rest of the departments.
To support the commercial team in the interlocution with the client, participating in meetings, calls, etc., in all matters related to the Supply Chain.
