Please check both and respond promptly. Budget: 36.000,00 € Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement activities for R&D projects, bridging project requirements in technology and cost with strategic suppliers.
This role ensures seamless collaboration between internal teams and suppliers to support the industrialization of new projects from conception to mass production, while aligning with the material group strategy and maintaining cost efficiency.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesAct as the key interface between suppliers and internal departments, including R&D, Project Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering.Manage supply chain risks to ensure timely delivery of materials, samples, and validation processes.Request and evaluate supplier offers, collaborating with the lead buyer to select the most suitable options.Negotiate and optimize prices, ensuring cost reductions and compliance with budgetary constraints.Oversee procurement processes, including identifying requirements, sourcing, negotiating contracts, and supplier management.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards.Address technical, material, and logistics-related issues with suppliers.Support project teams with cost analysis, risk assessments, and opportunities for cost savings.Prepare and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate policies.Provide regular updates and reports to project teams and management on procurement status, risks, and opportunities.Maintain and update procurement databases, including prices and delivery conditions.Must-Have QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an electronic purchasing department.In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electronic components and the market.Proven project management skills with a focus on procurement strategies.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.Target-driven, highly organized, and methodical problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Expertise in using presentation tools and laptops for reporting and analysis.Team-oriented mindset with cross-functional collaboration experience in supplier management.Seniority LevelMid-Senior level
