Job Title: Supply Chain DirectorLocation: Barcelona, SpainPosition Overview:As the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic direction of the end-to-end supply chain, with a particular emphasis on planning, forecasting, and warehousing management. You will lead a talented team and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products, meeting customer demands while minimizing costs and enhancing operational performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement the long-term supply chain strategy, with a focus on improving planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and warehousing operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Lead demand planning, inventory forecasting, and production scheduling efforts to ensure optimal stock levels, align with customer requirements, and minimize supply chain disruptions.Oversee warehousing operations, including inventory management, storage optimization, and logistics coordination to ensure efficient handling and timely distribution of goods.Identify opportunities for process improvements across the supply chain to drive cost-effective operations and ensure timely deliveries.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers to ensure the reliability and performance of the entire supply chain.Identify risks to the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.Collaborate with teams across the business, including R&D, production, and sales, to align supply chain strategies with broader business goals.Utilize data analytics and KPIs to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in all areas of the supply chain.Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience as a Supply Chain Director or in a senior management role within the chemical or manufacturing industry.Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and warehousing operations.Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, industry best practices, and regulations.Experience managing large-scale supply chains, with a focus on planning, forecasting, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.Proficiency in ERP systems, forecasting tools, and data analytics platforms.Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming supply chain challenges.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to lead a high-impact, global supply chain for a major player in the chemical industry.A dynamic and innovative work environment based in Barcelona, with a strong focus on sustainability and operational excellence.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV below.
