About the Job The Supply Chain – Data Analyst (Power BI focus) will harness the power of data visualization and analytics to support our E2E supply chain operations.
You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw supply chain data into actionable insights, providing our organization with the tools needed for data-driven decision-making.
In this role, you will be the go-to expert for Power BI development within the supply chain analytics context.
You will design, develop, test and maintain Power BI reports in collaboration with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders.
Your ability to turn complex supply chain data into clear, actionable visualizations will empower our organization to make informed decisions and drive improvements in supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
This position will report directly to the Global Supply Chain Excellence team and will have a direct reporting line to the Digital transformation Manager – Business Intelligence.
Data Extraction and Transformation : Utilize Power Query and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques to extract supply chain data from various sources and transform it into a format suitable for analysis.
Apply queries in Snowflake and Power BI for data visualization purposes.
Power BI Development : Create interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively communicate supply chain performance metrics, trends, and insights.
Data Modeling : Design and maintain data models in Power BI to support complex supply chain analyses, ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization.
Data Quality Assurance : Implement data quality checks and validation processes within Power BI to ensure the integrity and reliability of supply chain data.
Data Security : Establish and maintain data security and governance in Power BI by applying access controls KPI Tracking : Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards to monitor and evaluate the performance of supply chain functions, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Automation : Leverage Power Automate (formerly Flow) to automate data refresh and report distribution processes, reducing manual effort and ensuring up-to-date information.
Collaboration : Collaborate closely with supply chain teams, data analysts, and IT professionals to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
User Experience & User Interface : Understand and apply UX/UI design best practices.
Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users, empowering them to leverage Power BI for self-service data exploration and reporting.
Documentation : Maintain documentation of Power BI solutions, ensuring that best practices are followed for version control and data governance.
Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously enhance supply chain reporting capabilities.
Requirements needed Education and experience Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, or Information Technology.
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Proficiency in Power Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), SQL and M (Power Query Formula Language).
Experience Snowflake, relational databases and data quality assurance process.
Experience with Python is a plus.
Familiarity with supply chain concepts and data is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Power Automate experience is a plus.
