TITLE: Supply Chain Analyst REPORTING TO: Director, Center of Excellence, Offshore and Global Logistics LOCATION: Madrid, Spain ROLE TYPE: Full-time, hybrid Role Overview The Supply Chain Analyst supports the overall Supply Chain efforts at IPC by managing the data processing and analysis. The role encompasses collecting information from internal and external sources to analyze so IPC can make better decisions regarding spend. It is key in this role to have excellent computer skills combined with a desire to understand data.
Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to collect information on an ongoing basis to enable duty drawbacks from US CBP. Establish freight cost analytics to simplify and improve linkage with shipping charged to customers. Manage key monthly reports and ad-hoc reporting on findings and assessments. Analyze data and information to identify business opportunities and support business growth. Support other key initiatives for global logistics and offshore. Keep updated on industry and market trends and make recommendations to improve business performance. Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this role Graduate with 4-year degree in business, finance, or supply chain management. Minimum 3-years' experience as a data analyst with focus on supply chain. Proficiency in written and verbal English. Exposure on logistics side of business and telecommunications carrier management will be a positive. Strong analytical skills to comprehend large amounts of data to interpret data, derive trends and present results. Experience in development of performance metrics and measurement criteria. Experience in business process development and definition. Able to demonstrate interpersonal skills necessary to work within a team environment and communicate effectively across a variety of geographically dispersed resources. Advance knowledge in using MS Suite of applications (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, DB analysis, and Power BI): Microsoft Excel - must know how to use vlookup and pivot tables. DB analysis – understanding of SQL concepts and data normalization. Ability to acquire knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments.
