Vestas Technology & Operations> Quality>SupplierQuality & Development This position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas MED region, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety, and environment. The key task is the strategic and operational development of key suppliers in South Europe, Turkey, Middle East & Africa region by performing site audits, supplier assessments and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents and reduce the number of non-conformities. The SQ&D Department is part of a matrix organization covering global and regional demands collaborating with multiple internal functions i.E. procurement, engineering, manufacturing facilities, service & project management. Responsibilities Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers for Capex & Tools. Ensure supplier quality, capability, and performance in compliance with regional & global strategy. Develop new markets entry strategy & new supplier onboarding ensuring Vestas processes are followed. (Supplier approval & Qualifications) Secure agreement with regional QHSE & Capex & Tools team for completion of supplier improvement activities. Coordinate QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements. Drive Supplier Performance Review Meetings with cross-functional participation. Ensure that relevant QSE agreements with suppliers are in place. Lead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier local initiative, conduct QHSE audits and prepare-present executive reports. Qualifications Engineering Degree in Welding. Having +3 years experience in similar role / relevant industry background. Certification / Experience in APQP framework will be beneficial. Certified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other standards and relevant quality-safety certifications is beneficial. Green Belt Six Sigma qualification will be a benefit. Competencies Relevant commodity acumen with certifications (IWE...) High project management skills with the ability to facilitate complex development projects across the organization. Competency in data analytics and comprehensive problem-solving skills, having the ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems. Good communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international, diverse & cross-functional environment. Motivated personality, independent learning & critical thinking skills. Full proficiency in English
