Then this job is for you!Vestas Technology & Operations > Quality > Supplier Quality & DevelopmentThis position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas MED region, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety and environment. The key task is the strategic and operational development of key suppliers in South Europe, Turkey, Middle East & Africa region by performing site audits, supplier assessments and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents and reduce the number of non-conformities. The SQ&D Department is part of a matrix organization covering global and regional demands collaborating with multiple internal functions i.e. procurement, engineering, manufacturing facilities, service & project management.Responsibilities:Deploy the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external suppliers for Capex & Tools.Ensure supplier quality, capability, and performance in compliance with regional & global strategy. Develop new markets entry strategy & new supplier onboarding ensuring Vestas processes are followed. (Supplier approval & Qualifications)Secure agreement with regional QHSE & Capex & Tools team for completion of supplier improvement activities.Coordinate QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirements.Drive Supplier Performance Review Meetings with cross-functional participation.Ensure that relevant QSE agreements with suppliers are in place.Lead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier local initiative, conduct QHSE audits and prepare-present executive reports.Qualifications:Engineering Degree in Welding.Having +3 years experience in similar role / relevant industry background.
