We are dedicated to recruiting the best talent regardless of race, religion, gender, age, and other abilities, promoting their professional and personal development.Overview: The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for managing and improving the quality of components and materials supplied by external vendors. The SQE ensures that all supplied products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves supplier audits, quality control processes, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:Conduct Supplier Audits: Perform regular audits of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and company requirements.Supplier Evaluation: Assess new and existing suppliers for capability, capacity, and performance. Approve new suppliers and re-evaluate existing ones based on quality metrics.Supplier Development: Work closely with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement plans. Provide training and support to enhance their quality management systems.Quality Control: Establish and monitor incoming inspection criteria for supplied materials. Ensure that all received components meet the required specifications.Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Non-Conformance Management: Manage non-conforming materials, including documentation, disposition, and supplier feedback.Process Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against quality targets.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain. Develop contingency plans to address potential quality issues.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of supplier components into the production process.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality management, preferably within the automotive industry or a related manufacturing environment.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, statistical process control (SPC), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
