Here we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Barcelona.The main responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer are:Conduct onsite inspection activities (Eg. pre-shipment inspection) to ensure products meet specifications & company requirementsWork with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions on their quality issues & process failuresWork with suppliers for continuous improvement activitiesHandling supplier process change management and coordinating with regional and global quality for review and approvalMonitoring and evaluation of supplier performanceWork with Strategic Purchasing on Supplier Business ReviewsSupplier complaint investigation and 8D report generationQuality Claim Management:Responsible for customer and supplier claim processes such as:Identifying issue owners (subsidiaries, suppliers, and function)Verification of preventive measures, and 8D report preparation to customer service/customer.Ensure that customer claims are managed and resolved on time.Other Quality AssignmentsAssist Quality Manager with periodical KPI reporting to HQGuide complaint owners on the usage of QC tools for root cause analysis & CAPASupport customer audit at the supplier siteProvide support as and when required pertaining to (onsite) supplier quality-related mattersManagement of generic purchase and/or delivery specifications, and specifications for subcontractingEnsure the availability of the necessary documentation for the inspection of raw materialsDefine the inspection control plans at the entrance and the recordsSupport in the inspection at the entranceFollow up on the KPIs of your area and make decisions based on them.What's great about working with us: Culture : Join a friendly team with different nationalities.Open working space with Best-in-class equipment: High-performance PC with huge monitors.Office timetable : M-Th 8.30 – 17.30 and Fri 8.30 – 15.30 (with flexible hours).Home office: combined home office and on-site.Social benefits: Continuous training and coaching, private medical insurance, transport tickets, and in-house parking.Own canteen: take a break with our breakfast and lunch service: choose a wide range of menus, salad desk, and sandwiches.
