Here we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer in Barcelona.Main Responsibilities:Conduct onsite inspection activities (e.g., pre-shipment inspection) to ensure products meet specifications and company requirements.Work with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions on their quality issues and process failures.Work with suppliers for continuous improvement activities.Perform periodical supplier audits.Handle supplier process change management and coordinate with regional and global quality for review and approval.New supplier site qualification (audit execution and closure).Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.Work with Strategic Purchasing on Supplier Business Reviews.Investigate supplier complaints and generate 8D reports.Quality Claim Management:Responsible for customer and supplier claim processes, including identifying issue owners (subsidiaries, suppliers, and function).Conduct initial failure analysis (failure verification).Verify preventive measures and prepare 8D reports for customer service.Ensure that customer claims are managed and resolved on time.Other Quality Assignments:Assist Quality Manager with periodical KPI reporting to HQ.Guide complaint owners on the usage of QC tools for root cause analysis and CAPA.Support customer audits at the supplier site.Provide support as required pertaining to (onsite) supplier quality-related matters.Manage generic purchase and/or delivery specifications, and specifications for subcontracting.Ensure the availability of necessary documentation for the inspection of raw materials.Define the inspection control plans at the entrance and maintain records.Support in the inspection at the entrance.Follow up on the KPIs of your area and make decisions based on them.What's Great About Working With Us:Culture: Join a friendly team with different nationalities.Open working space: Best-in-class equipment with high-performance PCs and huge monitors.Office timetable: M-Th 8.30 - 17.30 and Fri 8.30 - 15.30 (with flexible hours).Home office: Combined home office and on-site work.Social benefits: Continuous training and coaching, private medical insurance, transport tickets, and in-house parking.Own canteen: Enjoy breakfast and lunch service with a wide range of menus, salad desk, and sandwiches at reasonable prices!Location: El Prat de Llobregat (Polígon Pratenc).
