.Supplier Quality & Development EngineerThis position reports toGlobal Quality ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid. This role is contributing to the Supplier Quality area in the Mobile Robotics division in Spain. Main stakeholders are Suppliers, Supply Chain, R&D, and Process Engineering departments. You will be mainly accountable for:Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for the quality assurance of suppliers to ensure the highest possible quality and delivery performance for purchased materials. SQE's coordinates suppliers and verifies quality standards in accordance with the requirements of their organization. You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in suppliers Quality management. You enjoy working with Problem Solving & corrective action techniques (e.G. 8D) and Process audits.Ability to demonstrate your experience in Supplier Quality Management. You have 3 years of experience in industrial sectors (e.G. Automotive).Possess an enhanced knowledge of performing supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, as well as actively participating in strategic development based on quality control plans.You are passionate about the management of the supply chain, you serve as the liaison for suppliers, suggest structural quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineers in a team environment.Degree in Engineering /Science.You are at ease communicating in motivating suppliers and promoting internal improvements.You hold a current driving license valid in Spain and Schengen work visa
