Make it your story.This position reports toGlobal Quality ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid.This role contributes to the Supplier Quality area in the Mobile Robotics division, in Spain. Main stakeholders are Suppliers, Supply Chain, R&D, and Process Engineering departments.You will be mainly accountable for:Driving the approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for the quality assurance of suppliers to ensure the highest possible quality and delivery performance for purchased materials. SQE coordinates suppliers and verifies quality standards in accordance with the requirements of their organization.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in supplier quality management. You enjoy working with problem-solving & corrective action techniques (e.g. 8D) and process audits.Ability to demonstrate your experience in supplier quality management.
