Supervisory Food Service Specialist

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FOOD SERVICES SPECIALIST in the Fleet Readiness Department of NAVAL STATION ROTA.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Applying food management policies and procedures to make decisions on the daily operations and management of facilities (i.e.
food and purchasing specifications, food sanitation/safety, inventory accountability, menu planning, recipe development and basic nutrition);Maintaining and developing safety and operational instructions for equipment usage, food preparation/storage and maintenance of spaces in accordance with food sanitation/safety regulations and practices;Approving the order of food and supplies while remaining within prescribed budgets and allowances;Evaluating contractor reports and performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements.Note: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
