The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Location:ArcosRole Purpose:Supervise, optimize and continuously improve the production activities in the site together with other disciplines, taking into account the local regulations, rules, permits, and the predetermined cost budget according to the specifications as determined by the Sales department.Responsibilities:Supervise the production activities in the site and ensure the activities are performed in a safe and healthy way. Ensure the production team, both own employees and subcontractors, perform their activities considering safety and health as the highest priority. Motivate people to report unsafe/unhealthy behaviour/issues. Ensure exploitation according to the rules as set in the permits and develop a yearly work plan to be approved by the local authorities. Control the activities are performed within the predefined budget and alert the sales team on time when problems arise.Supervise the Production activities in the Site according to the Operational Excellence principles.Ensure activities are performed according to the production schedule. Work with the production scheduler.
