About Marc Jacobs
Born in New York City in April 1963, Marc Jacobs attended the High School of Art and Design and graduated from Parson's School of Design.
As a design student, Jacobs was the recipient of some of the School's highest honours including design student of the year.

In 1984, The Marc Jacobs Label was founded along with business partner Robert Duffy and has since become a global brand.
Objective of the role
As a Supervisor for the Marc Jacobs store in El Corte Inglés Barcelona, you will be an Ambassador of the brand, representing the vision of Marc Jacobs through personal and team performance to empower to achieve personal and store goals through coaching and leading the team and to maximize profitable sales whilst ensuring KPI's and guidelines are delivered.
You have exceptional communication skills, and as a team player, you collaborate with a positive approach to challenge, run and operate an efficient store which represents the Marc Jacobs brand image.
Brand AmbassadorExcite and instill passion and pride for the brandEmbody the brand image for customers and the store team and have a strong understanding of the brand DNALead by example and demonstrate role model behavior that is always representative of the brand adhering to the dress codes and appearance guidelinesGeneral Store VM/ Client ManagementLead the team of Sales Ambassadors to ensure they are prioritizing exceptional customer experiences to drive loyalty and repeat business both in store and through Virtual ShoppingEnsure Jet Set Ambassadors maintain client communication by using all available clienteling toolsProactively manage client database to increase salesMaintain floor presence and lead by example through elevated customer experience and Service Leading.Provide coaching and support to assist Sales Ambassadors in resolving customer service issues, empowering the teams to make decisions in the customer's best interestReflect the visual merchandising guidelines promoting the brand imageEnhance customer service standards in store to ensure the best client journeySales/ Business MonitoringWelcome all clients to ensure they feel comfortable in the environment and educate them about the brandMeet and exceed sales goals holding self and team accountable for resultsAnalyze reports, and develop action plans to ensure expectations are met or exceededTrack and communicate business results and opportunities, driving sales and product knowledgeEnsure sales and unit goals and all relevant KPIs are set for Sales Ambassadors and communicated effectively.
Build and maintain a relationship with themIntroduce additional complementary products targeted to your client and share product knowledge to drive sales and achieve targetsProcess the sale in a confident and professional manner and gather the client's CRM details to enlarge your client bookDrive your product knowledge by keeping up to date with fashion trendsUpdate yourself on all product lines through researchEnsure all Company policies and procedures are attendedSupport the management team to ensure store maintenance, auditing programme and stock takes are aligned to Brand standardsEnsure loss prevention is a key priority, assuming responsibility for taking quick action on early indications of any loss, collaborating with store management, Operations Manager and Head Office.Support the management team in training and developing the store team as well as onboarding new joinersProvide feedback to support the management team in evaluating and boosting the performance of each Jet Set AmbassadorEnsure image and grooming standards are aligned with brand policy and ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered toLead the team through morning briefings, objective setting, training and direct coaching together with the UK Retail ManagerCreate a team spirit whilst managing, motivating and driving the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
Inspire, lead and coach the store team to create a culture of performance delivery and accountabilityInstruct and supervise staff in the correct execution of operating procedures, pricing, merchandise receipt, product returnsResponsible for the day-to-day needs of the business and administration.Minimum RequirementsA minimum of 3 years' experience in sales in a luxury, high fashion environmentExperience in selling RTW / LGPassion for fashion and salesA commitment to achieving and exceeding targets whilst focusing on the client's needs and experienceExcellent personal presentation - a Marc Jacobs Brand AmbassadorUnderstanding of Retail KPIsA fluent level in English is essential and additional languages are an advantage
