Key Responsibilities: Principal Duties and Responsibilities Responsibility 1: RELIABILITY PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Ensure effective and efficient implementation and monitoring of substation and secondary devices reliability programs for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M.
Tasks: Consolidate and review the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M's substation and secondary devices reliability programs submitted by OMPD, OMMD based on Transmission Development Plan, Management directions, and operational performance.Formulate the preparation of Bid Documents including Technical Data Sheets, Terms of Reference, Bid Price Schedule and other pertinent documents intended for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M's substation and secondary devices reliability programs as may be required by Procurement.Initiate the preparation of Purchase Requisitions for projects, materials, tools and equipment utilizing SAP intended for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M.Conduct thorough evaluation, review and provide recommendation on Technical Evaluation of Bid Proposals under O&M's substation and secondary devices reliability programs intended for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M.Facilitate resolutions on technical, commercial, legal clarifications and other documentary requirements for substation and secondary devices reliability programs for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M.Prepare, review, and evaluate Variation Orders, Contract Time Extensions, and Contract Time Suspensions on projects under O&M's substation and secondary devices reliability programs intended for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M.Initiate, facilitate, coordinate and monitor reliability programs implementation performance and facilitate strategies to realize timely completion of projects under O&M's substation and secondary devices reliability programs intended for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao O&M.Responsibility 2: DEVELOPMENT OF FUNCTIONAL POLICIES, PROCEDURES, AND STANDARDS
Initiate development/amendment/enhancement of corporate policies, programs, work plans, and standards applicable and pertaining to the efficient reliability of substation and secondary devices.
Tasks: Develop, review and recommend procedures, policies and other studies to ensure efficiency, reliability, and improvement of the Division's processes.Recommend improvement on the operation and maintenance of substation and secondary devices through knowledge and skills gained in trainings, summits, conferences and roadshows.Responsibility 3: REPRESENTATION TO TOP MANAGEMENT AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS
Represents O&M to the Management and external stakeholders with regards to substation and secondary devices issues and concerns.
Tasks: Represent and provide information relating to substation and secondary devices to the Management and upon appropriate clearances to external stakeholders.Represent and coordinate to suppliers and contractors the compliances, requirements and status of ongoing projects.Responsibility 4: MANAGEMENT OF REQUIREMENTS FROM OTHER GROUPS
Closely coordinates with other Functional Groups on substation and secondary devices reliability program matters.
Tasks: Coordinates with Project and Engineering (P&E) on the progress and implementation of substation and secondary devices reliability programs.Coordinates with Systems Operations (SO) in the progress and implementation of substation and secondary devices reliability programs.Coordinates with Corporate Project Office (CPO) on the progress and implementation of substation and secondary devices reliability programs.Coordinates with Internal Audit Department (IAD) concerning substation and secondary devices reliability project and procedure-related audits.Coordinates with Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG) on matters with procurement requisition, technical evaluation and contract including concern on item inventories, delivery, acceptance, and noncompliances.Coordinates with Revenue and Regulatory Affairs Department (RRAD) on ERC and other External Stakeholder's issues, review of connected assets, point-to-point connections, and other special reports.Coordinates with Financial Accounting Department (FAD) on payment processing.Coordinates with Human Resources Talent Organization (HRTO) on training and manpower requirements.Coordinates with Information Technology Department (ITD) on IT issues and concerns.Responsibility 5: SAFETY AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Ensure that activities are fully compliant with NGCP safety/quality standards.
Tasks: Complies with applicable regulations and NGCP standards on safety and quality.Strives for the continuous improvement of NGCP processes necessary for the achievement of corporate objectives.Upholds corporate policies and guidelines.Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringRegistered Electrical EngineerMinimum of three (3) years of relevant experienceKnowledgeable in Substation and Transmission SystemGood communication skillsBasic management skillsMicrosoft Office
