The Submission to Quote Product Owner serves as the leader of the delivery and enhancement of the digital product: Submission Ingestion. This role involves owning the digital vision, set by the EMEA Ingestion Product Owner and Head of Transformation, owning the squad roadmap, with a keen focus on maximizing agent and customer impact as well as driving business value and 'No touch' processing. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships to align expectations, championing the voice of the customer to steer product success, and defining and prioritizing deliverables for the team. The Product Owner will collaborate extensively with team members, including the development team and Agile practitioners, to design, develop, and launch the product. Additionally, the role requires engaging with other Product Owners across various domains of digital transformation to ensure cohesive alignment and integrated efforts.
Responsibilities Lead solutions to overall success using input from the team, stakeholders, and customers.
Own the holistic team performance to business objectives and outcomes to deliver Chubb's underwriting craftsmanship and expertise digitally.
Work with business intelligence and process engineering partners to track and measure processes, solution progress, and outcomes, using well-defined KPIs that tie back to OKRs.
Define, refine, and prioritize user stories/epics/tasks daily, including leading interactions with other units.
Own Submission Ingestion Team vision and set priorities to deliver impact to the customer as quickly as possible in alignment with the quarterly business requirements set by the sub-domain.
Observe, learn about, contact, and analyze end users of the solution, and clearly communicate the requirements to the team.
Facilitate planning of Team sprints within the Submission Ingestion squad to reaffirm priorities and agree on business requirements.
Create, maintain, and prioritize the Submission Ingestion team backlog using input from the team, stakeholders, and customers.
Specify acceptance criteria for each user story and write acceptance tests.
Facilitate release planning with stakeholders and participate in sprint meetings.
Build and maintain relationships with the stakeholders.
Integrate usability studies and research into solution requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
Qualifications Able to combine both deep business and product knowledge with technical know-how on digital and Insurtech related solutions, processes, and partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically.
Experience managing and launching an Insurtech or digital solution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, very comfortable speaking with senior leaders.
Strong self-motivator, with a contagious ability to spread energy to the team.
Knowledge of Agile values, principles, and practices; certified Scrum product owner is a plus.
Experience as a Product Owner delivering STP, infrastructure, or Insurtech solutions.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle related to the insurance tech industry.
Experience in Agile methodologies.
Experience with customer journeys and customer experience, with reference to insurance industry expectations for clients, business partners, and employees.
