Subcontract Manager

Job DescriptionOil & Gas Company is looking for a Subcontract Manager for an Onshore project, located in Mozambique.Mission :To ensure that Subcontract administration is performed efficiently, effectively and in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and within the budgets allocated and within the constraints of the projectsTasks :Post-Contract Award :Develop and maintain registers for all subcontracts to monitor the performance against the responsibilities undertaken as per the SubcontractInstruct the Subcontractor on the procedure of AdministrationReview and validate the progress payment submitted by SubcontractorsAssure that extra works, new unit prices, claims, back charges, liquidated damages and close out of the Subcontracts are performed / processed in accordance with the relevant procedureEnsure that the letters and notices from the Subcontractors are appropriately replied toEnsure all letters, instructions and notices given to Subcontractors are acknowledged and acted upon in a timely mannerMonitor key dates against dates defined in the main contract, any variations and claims submittal advice to project management team of the implications of project program and forecasts, if any (i.E. delays / costs)Analyze the issued Site Technical Queries, Site Instructions, Deviation Requests to determine cost impact related to SubcontractsParticipate actively in change management and risk management sessionsManage commercial close out of Subcontract Agreements. Follow up on Completion CertificatesEnsure collection and sharing of lessons learned, feedback and returns of experience on issues / criticalities encountered during subcontract management activities#J-18808-Ljbffr
