Job description: Enfinity Global is looking for a Structured Finance Associate that will be responsible for structuring and executing the financing of Enfinity's projects, as well as supporting the company on the financing forecast of the Company´s portfolio of projects and investment opportunities in Europe.
Based in Madrid, the Structured Finance Associate for Europe will report directly to the Head of Structure Finance Europe and will support on leading more junior members of the Structured Finance team.
Key responsibilities: Support senior team members in structuring, negotiation and execution of construction and long-term non-recourse debt and ancillary facilities such as VAT financing and project guarantees.
Support senior team members in structuring, negotiation and execution of junior financing, development financing, equipment and pre-construction financing.
Financial modelling for Project Finance and M&A transactions.
Coordination with advisors and stakeholders involved in the financing process.
Preparation of internal and external analysis and presentations such as Teasers & Infomemos, internal Investment Committees and Management Review.
Collaboration with internal departments such as Procurement, Technical, Legal, Asset Management, etc.
Support M&A transactions (buy-side) from a modelling side, focused on asset deals (solar PV, Wind, Batteries, etc.)
and support M&A team in analyzing potential deals, presenting NBOs and obtaining internal approval.
Qualifications: 4- 6 years of prior work experience within project finance, asset-backed finance, M&A / investment banking, private equity or consulting sector.
Understanding of the renewable energy sector (regulatory, financial, project development & asset management) in Italy and other markets in EMEA Proficient understanding of project financing & M&A processes Advanced valuation and modeling skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Spanish, Italian is a big plus.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in the context of a Project Finance and M&A process with tight deadlines.
Flexibility to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
