Structural Steel Tower Engineer (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS: Design, calculation, certification, and validation of wind turbine support structures, including concrete towers, steel towers, and hybrid towers with special attention to the aeroelastic behaviour of the towers and vortex induced vibrations.
Within the MTL team, you will design concrete, steel, and hybrid towers with a focus on LCOE reduction.
You will also analyse the aeroelastic behaviour of towers by identifying the risk of vortex induced vibrations and developing anti-damping solutions.
YOUR PROFILE: Mechanical Engineer / Civil Engineer.
Extensive knowledge of aeroelasticity, vortex, and anti-damping systems.
Structural calculations of steel structures with linear and non-linear behaviour.
Finite element calculation (Ansys, Abaqus).
Knowledge of building regulations.
Programming skills (Python, C++).
Profile: PhD desirable, flexible and tenacious person.
Flexibility and teamwork.
Fluent in English.
German desirable.
5 years of experience in similar functions.
Availability to travel.
