Structural Jacket Lead Discipline EngineerI am currently seeking a Structural Design Engineer with expertise in marine structures for an exciting role based in Cádiz, Andalusia. The position involves overseeing structural design, managing engineering teams, and coordinating with third parties. Relocation to the area is required.
Job Description: Development and review of structural design premises.Preparation and review of structural calculation reports.Review of regulations and design specifications applicable to the project.Management and leadership of the design and calculation engineering team.Management and interface with third parties (Client, Verifier, etc.).Preparation and review of technical specifications.Preparation and review of engineering design and calculation schedules.Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a focus on marine structures. Chartered engineer or any similar professional certification.Years of Experience Required: 5 years.Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in marine structural engineering, with a focus on offshore projects.Proven experience in overseeing and checking the work of subcontractors involved in marine structural design.Experience and familiarity with the design of substructures (jackets) and topside structures for HVDC and HVAC platforms, preferably in the German North Sea / Baltic Sea.Familiarity with the German statutory requirements (BSH) for offshore wind projects is highly desirable.Strong understanding of offshore engineering principles and practices, including knowledge of international standards and regulations.Project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple tasks, adhere to project timelines, and ensure the quality of deliverables.Language Skills: Contract Type: FULL_TIME
