Responsibilities: Member of the Component Structural Analysis group performing engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services within the structural mechanic's field. Responsible for hand calculations as well as finite element analysis calculations in ANSYS to verify the qualification of nuclear power plant components to the appropriate standards. Thorough documentation of analyses in English and French. Propose integrated solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects. Participate in international project teams and communicate with relevant parties. Various evolutions are possible at the end of this position, depending on the experience acquired and the performance obtained, and may lead to progress towards the path of technical expertise, project management or management. Experience of successful candidate: MS degree in mechanical engineering. This position is for an early career engineer (0 to 4 years of experience). Interested in mechanical component stress analysis, finite element analysis software for structural analysis. Interested in the nuclear industry. You are fluent in English and have proven report writing skills. Previous work experience with ANSYS APDL and/or workbench is a plus. Why Westinghouse?
