Strong Middle Data Engineer - I-867

Responsibilities:
Refinement / Envisioning of technical solutions to address business requirements in light of Permira Data Standards / Framework.
Implementation of Data Pipelines / Data Processes / APIs within the Data Platform Technical Stack.
Responsible for Development Environment Testing providing base evidence of results.
Support QA Engineers during SIT Testing Phase on Testing environment and responsible for Production deployment.
Support the Team on solving Production environment issues with existing Data Pipelines / REST APIs.
Main responsible for the Documentation effort of the technical solutions implemented (at User Story level / Data Catalog level).
Requirements:
Opportunity in Spain, based in Madrid (will require client office time to time).
Fluent in English (Writing, Reading, Speaking).
Team worker.
Delivery focused mindset.
Experience working within Agile Teams.
Ability to articulate conversations with Business Stakeholders beyond technical level discussion of the user stories.
Able to design technical solutions to address business requirements.
3+ years working in Data Engineering.
Sound understanding of Data Architecture / Data Modelling.
Python Programming for Data (Functional approach).
Relational Database / SQL Experience.
Previous exposure to REST APIs (for Data Pipelines / ETL).
Previous exposure to SOAP APIs (for Data Pipelines / ETL).
Git & CI/CD (multi-branch approach).
Nice to have:
Exposure to DBT highly valued.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Exposure to Spark.
Data APIs Development experience.
Previous exposure to Financial Services sector.
