TasksWe are looking for people to strengthen our structural analysis team! We are part of the Engineering – Airframe Engineering Organisation – and we support the Stress teams in the area of structure analysis, developing and maintaining Finite Element Models and the structure analysis methods and software tools (Stress and Fatigue) in all Aircraft development phases.Your main tasks and responsibilities will include airframe development, structure analysis, support to the Stress and Fatigue assessment, and structure sizing. This comprises the following non-exclusive tasks:Linear and nonlinear structure analysis with the Finite Element Method (FEM)Structure Strength and Damage Tolerance analysis and assessmentStructure Stability analysis and assessmentStructure integrity assessmentMultidisciplinary structure analysis and optimisation3. QualificationWe are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:Completed studies in Structural Engineering / Structural MechanicsExperience in conducting structure analysis with the finite element method in NastranExperience in structure assessment (Stability, Stress, Fatigue, and Damage Tolerance)Negotiation Level of SpanishAdvanced Level in EnglishProactive and positive teamwork attitudeExperience in FEM analysis with Abaqus and Hyperworks tools is a plusProgramming skills also valued: FORTRAN2003+, Python, C/C#/C++, Visual BasicBenefitsAt Airbus, we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
