The Team: An international team (British, French, German, Italian, Portuguese) with complementary education and experience in the investment, medical, scientific, strategic and operational sectors.Composed of alumni from: INSEAD, Berkeley, Georgetown, Bocconi, HEC Paris, Ponts et Chaussées, ESSEC, Imperial College, Dartmouth, etc.Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i, Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings, capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik, Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary).Your Role: Joining the newly created Knowledge Management team, you will play a key role in an ambitious and large-scale new initiative to support investment teams in their strategic decision making, both in deal origination and in strategic support to portfolio companies. As an Internal Strategy Consultant, you will be leading internal commercial and exit due diligences, working closely with our investment team. You will play a key role in the optimization of our due diligence process, both internally with the diffusion of consulting tools & methodologies, and externally, identifying and managing advisors and providers.
Upstream: You will actively participate in ARCHIMED's strategic reflection within our sector teams, contributing to industry & geographical markets prioritization, by liaising with our MedTalents and our Scientific Advisors, and by conducting market mappings.
Downstream: You will help structure our value proposition to our portfolio companies, developing the approach for value creation strategy and roadmap, in relationship with investment teams and with portfolio companies' management. You will also take part in internal trainings conception and delivery. As ARCHIMED is expanding, there will be many opportunities for role evolution and development.
Requirements: Aptitudes and Skills we look for: 3-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, with a strong exposure to due diligence.Good knowledge of Pharma, Life Science, MedTech and/or HealthTech industries.Strong analytical capabilities.Ability to see the larger picture and draw key insights from the analysis of multiples & complex sources.Strong communication skills, professionalism in relationships within ARCHIMED, with external providers and if required with investee companies.Intellectual honesty and ability to value others' points of view, pro-actively soliciting opinions and ideas.Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and to manage conflicting demands.Positive and can-do attitude.Ability to work both independently and in close team dynamics.Fluent English.
