Objective The objective of the Enterprise Strategy Team is to partner with our businesses to develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities to create value across the Group. As part of the Enterprise Strategy Team, the Strategy Associate will take part in Strategic Projects and Initiatives across the company supporting business and global functions leaders in developing strategic insights and supporting decision making namely in topics of resource deployment and business positioning. The Strategy Associate will act as an internal consultant working within a project team and participate end-to-end in selected projects, from the framing of the strategic topic to the setup of the implementation of the resulting recommendations. Key Responsibilities: Develop frameworks to address strategic topics arising from strategic planning processes and external environment challenges and opportunities (e.G. problem statement, project objectives, key questions to be answered, etc.). Build methodology to respond to previously defined framework. Generate hypothesis and define analysis needed to confirm or reject these. Gather necessary quantitative and qualitative, internal and external information. Run internal and external interviews with experts. Develop analytical models to test hypothesis. Generate insights from analysis developed and strategic, financial and operational implications for CRH in the short, medium and long-term. Develop storylines and memo documents that clearly articulate findings. Prepare compelling presentations for different audiences (working team, business leaders, senior leadership team). Facilitate working sessions to discuss findings of analysis and progress towards a recommendation. Build strategic rationale for recommending way forward for CRH. Facilitate deeper discussions to reach a consensus on the way forward and practical next steps
