Descartes is trusted by a panel of A-rated (re)insurers to carry out its activities.ABOUT YOUR ROLE Descartes Underwriting is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy New Business Team. You will report to the Strategy Corporate Development – Project Manager
and you will be a key contributor of the deployment of the Strategy team projects. The applicant will be in close and effective cooperation with all business units and play a vital role in the following activities:
Contribute to defining the Group's strategy and vision
Coordinate with Descartes teams to ensure rapid implementation of the Group's strategy
Support the Strategy New Business team in close collaboration with Descartes teams in growth-enablers projects: international expansion (incorporation / licensing), new insurance licenses, new partnerships, MA, other commercial and administrative tasks on behalf of the company
Prepare studies (Competitive watch, MA watch etc.) at the request of the Strategy Corporate Development – Project Manager
Prepare interactions with different internal external stakeholders (Head of Strategy New Business, founders, investors, (re)insurance companies…)
Assist in miscellaneous tasks as requested by the Strategy Corporate Development – Project Manager.

Graduated from a Business or Engineering school with a specialization in Strategy or Finance (e.g. MA)
0-1 years' experience (internships or/and apprentice) in Consulting, Strategy, Corporate finance.
SKILLS
Proficiency in MS office (Powerpoint, Excel)
Eye for quality, autonomous and attention to detail
Excellent communication (written and verbal)
Professional English (written, spoken).
MINDSET
Curiosity, and eagerness to learn more about the insurance industry and strategy
Willingness to improve and openness to feedback
