What You'll Do:The Strategic Projects Office (SPO) is responsible for developing, leading and project managing major strategic programs at Criteo. These projects are highly cross-functional and aligned to business strategy change, and drive the organisation and our operating model transformation. The team is also the guardian of the Company Race Plan – our corporate priorities and associated initiatives and KPIs. At the current time the focus is on Criteo's Transformation – a comprehensive operating model evolution.
The Strategic Program Senior Manager role is an amazing opportunity to contribute to Criteo development and transformation by managing transversal, strategic and impactful projects. We have a very ambitious roadmap that includes company-wide exciting initiatives, some of which you will directly manage. You'll be reporting to the head of SPO.
What will you be doing?
The Strategic Program Senior Manager will have the responsibility to drive strategic and transversal initiatives, in close collaboration with senior business or functional Criteo stakeholders, and in alignment with other functions and our global company roadmap. It includes:
Drive discussions with our Leaders and their respective teams to define and steer key projects within the Race Plan or Transformation programs.Direct and implement complex program scoping and problem solving through different qualitative (interviews, workshops, root cause analysis…) or quantitative analysis (data modelling and data crunching).Formalize strategic program recommendations and implementation plan with clear milestones, objectives and timeline that are practical, relevant and cohesive. Lead and communicate efficiently according to context and stakeholders, and be at ease with senior to C-level audience.Ensure day-to-day management of the program and track progress against plan, ensure alignment and understanding of overall objectives among the project team.Work closely and create trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, be able to understand and anticipate their priorities in light of the program objectives and build tailored recommendations, consistently obtaining buy-in on recommendations.Effectively handle priorities, balancing stakeholders needs across multiple programs, identifying risks and proactively managing issues that could arise.Ensure proper monitoring and reporting to program Sponsor, track progress and secure appropriate staffing.When relevant, develop, drive and mentor junior resources on the project, providing them with guidance and insights.Direct & support improvement of methodologies, processes and tools across the SPO team.Who You Are:Ideal Criteo skills/ experience [Internal]:
Good understanding of Criteo strategy.Strong belief that transformation is needed and an understanding of why.Understanding of the Criteo product/ business lines and their various dynamics.Proven experience within Criteo leading cross-functional or operational projects.Strategic thinker that sees the big picture beyond operational challenges.Exposition to senior leadership (LT or ELT) and a strong relation with LT members is a plus.Exposition to M&A projects (either from a global strategic perspective or from a functional perspective) is a plus.General Skills:
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial at every point of a change project.Active Listening: Good communication is a two-way process; listening to internal customers' feedback, needs and concerns is vital.Strategic Thinking: The ability to see the big picture, anticipate future trends and consequences, and incorporate them into the operational/organizational plan.Project Management: A deep understanding of project management techniques such as planning, scheduling, risk management, and change control is crucial.Measurement and Analysis: The ability to measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives and use that information to improve future efforts.Interpersonal & Influencing Skills: Building strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other departments is key.Problem Solving: Efficient and effective problem-solving for large scale programs with complex scenarios and high stakes.Ideal backgrounds:
6/7+ year Management/ Strategy/Financial/M&A consulting.Cross-functional project management exposure including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Operational experience in fast-moving/ changing environments.BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. MBA preferred.A background in the high-tech industry and understanding of the business and/or functional areas can be extremely helpful.Fluency in English mandatory.We acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above.
