YOUR TASK Within the "Development & Strategy" department, the selected candidate will become the independent sole source of truth of the techno-economic assumptions of the financial model of each e-fuel production project developed internally by Acciona Nordex Green Hydrogen.
Her/his role will be to ensure that at any time, and with the information available within ANGH and in external reputable sources, the financial models reflect the most reliable, accurate and relevant assumptions that drive project's value.
As the owner of the review and assurance process, the Strategic Hydrogen Project Valuation Lead will work to seamlessly improve the accuracy of and confidence in the project's economic value through its life-cycle.
With the supervision and assistance of the VP of Origination & Strategy and the Strategic Partnership Manager, the Strategic Hydrogen Project Valuation Lead will conduct: The regular update of the assumption workbook of each project under development, for which she/he will engage periodically with the data-owners within ANGH to review validity of the former assumptions, while documenting any change or additional assumptions.
Ensuring traceability of the different data points for the same assumption throughout the project's development phase.
Ensuring the data integrity of the information collected, defining the precise unit of measure of each assumption and the relevant conversion factors amongst different operational magnitudes behind the basic energy and mass balance equations of an e-fuel production plant.
Developing custom algorithms or cost estimating relationships (statistical analyses or modeling of comparable costs) to explicitly and rigorously transform project technical and descriptive information (ie: physical inputs and energy and mass balance related magnitudes) into cost estimations.
Helping to establish and redefine data-collection procedures.
Besides conducting the review and assurance process, the Strategic Hydrogen Project Valuation Lead: Will present periodically the updated value of the portfolio's projects.
Will participate in periodically key decision-making gates, at which she/he will present her/his work.
