As part of the transversal team, contribute to business improvement initiatives (internal or external to the area). Identification and evaluation of CAPEX and OPEX saving opportunities through alternative supply chain strategies. Also acting as PMO for the projects already running inside the area.B. Lead the Surplus Inventory Working Group consisting of:Non-quality cost tracking (surplus/slow-moving spare parts), root cause analysis, and proposal of corrective and preventive actions.Supply Chain Risk Management. Analysis of unwanted replenishment and proposal of purchase orders cancellation in order to reduce the risk of slow movers and protect Airbus D&S working capital.C. Contribute to stock surplus reduction initiatives:Lead discount policy campaigns for surplus inventory in alignment with Finance and Programme Office.Lead spare parts retrofit activity by establishing a sustainable WoW to monitor the stock health, assess cost-effectiveness of retrofits for obsolete spares, and coordinate the retrofit process accordingly.D. Support financial reporting activities:Operating Plan & Forecasts inventory objectives definition.Financial monthly actuals reporting.Continuous monitoring of Inventories performances to assure OP financials targets to be achieved, influencing business with the activation & follow-up of levers that will guarantee Divisional objectives.E. Contribution to IT new development or updates to current ones in order to provide efficiency to the business, putting special focus on automation and digitalization of current inventory control and root cause analysis mechanisms of surplus generation (Requirements definition, support during IM development, and final validation).F. Supplier forecast generation and follow-up. Analyze, maintain and improve forecast and data cleansing algorithms in order to elaborate an accurate demand forecast and supplier forecast (key input for business profitability, leveraging more cost-effective contracts with suppliers).Required SkillsKnowledge required:Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.Ability to deal with large sets of data with an advanced level in office packages (Excel and Access).Strong analytical skills. Ability to break down raw information and unstructured problems into specific, workable components that reflect drivers of causal issues
