The associate also has the responsibility of providing a safe working and shopping environment.Key accountabilitiesStock ManagementThis involves efficiently processing all deliveries in and out,- Ensure all deliveries are processed and managed on the POS system- Labelling goods and product care- Prepare goods to be displayed on the shop floor- Inform the Stock Manager of any delivery/stock discrepancies- Filing paperwork correctly and as per the House of Karl procedures- Prioritize deliveries based on style/product group turnover, peak trading times, and promotions- Awareness of merch calendar and scheduled deliveries- Providing daily feedback to the Stock Manager (stock levels, lost sales)Drive salesThis involves good knowledge of the business that will provide growth in sales.- Give feedback to Stock Manager about what stock is needed to have full product availability- Maintain a tidy and organized stockroom and shop floor storage with a clear system in place- Be aware of the best and slow sellers and ensure these are easily accessible in the stockroom- Ensure bi-hourly replenishmentProduct knowledgeThis involves an outstanding knowledge of the product to support the store operation.- Excellent knowledge of the product (sizes, colors, and styles, etc.)- Stay informed about product availabilitiesMaintains safety, security, and integrityThis involves that all procedures are being followed and that safety is being kept.- Ensure that aisles are safe- Providing goods with security tags following the HOK guidelines- Make sure the stockroom is safe- Take action if other associates are acting in an unsafe manner- Follow all procedures for loss prevention- Take action to reduce shrink- Treat all associates and customers with respectKey skills- Enthusiastic, pro-active, and performance-focused- Good communication and social skills- Flexible attitude and hands-on approach- Driven and performance-oriented setting- Team player- Punctual
