Position: We are looking to incorporate a Responsible for Main Equipment Purchases in Renewable Energy for the Generation area.
Description: Your mission will be to lead the relationship with key suppliers in the renewable energy generation industry, both for national and international projects.
Responsibilities: Ensure compliance, in coordination with the Purchasing Department, with the purchasing policies and procedures applicable to the Generation Department, both globally and at the project level.
Independently lead the negotiation of Main Equipment in coordination with the Purchasing Management.
Collaborate with the Studies area to improve prices, timelines, and conditions of the main supplies.
Establish a close commercial relationship with suppliers to stay updated on technology, prices, timelines, market situations, etc.
Actively search for new suppliers, technologies, and markets.
Search and identify subcontractors in different geographies, request offers, negotiate, and close contracts.
Leverage relationships with suppliers to identify opportunities for the company.
Launch requests for offers, receive and analyze them, negotiate, and close contracts.
Coordinate the management of purchases of minor equipment, both in the bidding phase and in project execution.
Requirements: University degree: preferably a Bachelor's/Master's in Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Main Equipment Purchases in Energy.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy sector.
Technical knowledge in the energy area.
Knowledge of the renewable energy market (products, suppliers).
Experience in international projects.
English: very high level spoken and written.
